CATTLE - Saturday 27th July
ABERDEEN ANGUS

Judge: Mr N Wattie, Alford, Aberdeenshire.

Judging will commence at 8.30 a.m prompt.

The Nisbet Hill Challenge Cup, presented by Messrs F. & C. Elliot for the Best Exhibit.

A Rosette & Tartan Sash presented by the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society, will be awarded to the Champion.

Rosette presented by the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society, will be awarded to the Best Animal bred by Exhibitor.

Silver Challenge Cup presented by the late David Colville, Chapel-on-Leader, for the Best Group consisting of One Male Animal and Two Females.

The T.W. Todd Silver Rose Bowl will be awarded to the winner of Class 128.

The Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society will award a special commemorative medal to the Champion provided that there are 15 or more entries forward.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL SIMMENTAL SHOW

Judge: Mr D Donnelly, Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Judging will commence at 8.30 a.m. prompt.

The Royal Bank Cup, presented by the Royal Bank of Scotland plc, will be awarded to the Champion Simmental.

The Swiss Bell Perpetual Trophy, will be awarded to the best Simmental of opposite sex to the Champion Simmental.

British Simmental Cattle Society Rosettes for the Champion and Reserve Simmental.

Border Union Rosettes, to Male and Female Champions.

NATIVE BEEF BREEDS

Judge: Mr M Ross, Gorebridge, Midlothian.

Judging will commence after the ABERDEEN ANGUS Section.

The Bank of Scotland Trophy, presented by the Bank of Scotland, will be awarded to the Best Exhibit.

The Kerfield Cup, will be awarded to the best Hereford.

The Bowmont Cup, will be awarded to the Best Hereford of opposite sex to the Champion.

The Royal Bank of Scotland Salver, will be awarded to the Best Group of Three (Herefords only).

2019 SCOTTISH LIMOUSIN GRANDPRIX

Judge: Mr M Quick, Crediton, Devon.

Judging will commence at 8.30 a.m. prompt.

The Nutrivet Cup, presented by Nutrivet Ltd, St Boswells, will be awarded to the Champion Limousin.

Border Union Rosettes to Male and Female Champions.

1st - £70, 2nd - £50, 3rd - £40, 4th - £20 & 5th - £10.

At the discretion of the Society Directors Classes may be amalgamated if entries are insufficient.

YOUNG HANDLERS’ COMPETITION

Judge: Mr M Ross, Gorebridge, Midlothian.

Ages to be taken from the 1st January 2019.

ENTRIES ON SHOW DAY BEFORE 10 A.M. (NO ENTRY FEE).

Young handlers may bring their own cattle for showing even if they are not entered for a Breed Section. Notice must be given to the Society in writing, prior to the show to allow for penning. All Entries must comply with orders and regulations under Diseases of Animals Acts current at the time of the Show. Each animal must be accompanied by its BCMS Passport otherwise entry to the Showground will be refused.
